In May 2019, St. Louis College of Pharmacy with be implementing a new APPE curriculum, and new technology to precept IPPE and APPE students (CORE ELMS). The purpose of this program is to train preceptors on the new curriculum requirements and new IPPE and APPE rotation management system. Attendees will be engaged in small group discussions regarding rotation assignments, requirements and evaluations, and will have the chance to navigate CORE ELMS and  pose system questions to the Office of Experiential Education faculty.
 
 
 
PARKING & LOCATION
 
 
Those participants in need of parking should arrive to our parking garage at 4531 Children's Place, St. Louis, MO 63110 about 15 minutes in advance. Please use the intercom button to communicate to Public Safety, who will ask for your name. Please park on the 2nd floor or higher and avoid reserved spaces, including those marked for the Mortar & Pestle Society.
 
After parking, exit the garage on the first floor along the footpath (opposite the vehicle entrance). Follow the footpath directly across to the glass building marked Recreation and Student Center.

St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To learn more about the specific program information, including universal activity numbers (UAN's) and learning objectives, please expand the modules below. Following successful completion of an evaluation, CE credit will be automatically reported to NABP through the CPE Monitor system, using the NABP ePID numbers and date of birth (MMDD) stored in participants' user profiles. Follow this link to learn more about CPE Monitor and the credit reporting process »  Participants are responsible for ensuring receipt of credit; no credit can be corrected or awarded if more than 60 days have passed from the date of the event or if the home study is expired.
 
It is the policy of St. Louis College of Pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, to ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all its educational programs. All faculty participating in this program are expected to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent conflicts of interest related to the content of the presentation.

Requirements for CE Credit

In order to obtain continuing pharmacy education (CPE or CE) credit, participants must complete the following:
  1. Be registered for this program. After the program, make sure you are logged in when you navigate to this page. Use the "My Account" tab at the top left of the page to see your current enrollments.
  2. Click on the green evaluation button (it will only appear AFTER the program is slated to close).
  3. Enter the attendance code that was given verbally at the end of the program.
  4. Complete the evaluation honestly. All answers are stored anonymously. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
  5. As soon as you submit the evaluation, a report with the NABP ePID and DOB stored in your profile will be sent to CPE Monitor. (It is a good idea to make sure your NABP ePID and DOB are correct under "My Profile" before submitting.)
  6. Please allow up to 48 hours for CPE Monitor to sync with NABP.
  7. Check your NABP profile (online) for receipt of credit.
  8. If desired, you may download a statement of attendance from the "View/Print CE Credit" tab. Note that this statement of attendance is NOT an accepted subsitute for a report from CPE Monitor if you are audited, but serves to fill your own personal records.
 
Evaluations will be open for 2 weeks (14 days) only.
 
It is the responsibility of the pariticpant to ensure credit has been received. If a participant notices that credit has not been delivered to their NABP profiles online, they should contact our office as soon as possible so that we can help to rectify the issue. Consistent with ACPE's policy, St. Louis College of Pharmacy is unable to award or correct any credit, for any reason, after 60 days.

  • Identify 2 new features within CORE ELMS that will enable you to provide needed information to students and the Office of Experiential Education.
